My brief run in the YouTube world has ended, having thrown in the towel after realizing I was in over my head. I wasn’t trying to start a major shift in astronomy or anything. I was just a guy who saw something different in the sky and who was curious. When I decide to figure something out, I am dogged in my pursuit. Only in this case it was hard to be that way. I was hit with so many dead ends and open ended questions, that I had no choice but to get help and input from others.
What was the “little white sun”? I still don’t know. I don’t think it’s Wormwood, Planet X, Niburu or Nemesis, but I don’t know what it is.
When I say dogged, I am talking about full and systematic understanding. If it challenges my worldview, so be it. And this one did. Shit got weird. I was chatting with scientists about floating nanoparticles, threw my belief in Newtonian mechanics out the window, and I think I may have spoken fighting words to Johannes Kepler. (An ill advised move because physicists back then were pretty badass. Tycho Brahe had his theories on Mars or something dissed by a rival physicist and they got into a sword fight… not a metaphorical one, a real honest to goodness sword fight, and Tycho got his face all cut up!)
So I started interacting more, producing better videos with illustrated explanations with hopes people followed enough to give some feedback. I pored over patents, historical records, old newspapers, and new journals, and I reported faithfully to the viewership. They, in turn, provided leads, new lines of inquiry, and moral support. That’s about when the hit counts / views started racking up, and before I knew it, I was spending over an hour daily answering comments and researching those answers to comments. People liked the idea of a group driven project.
Here’s one a viewer sent to me from Georgia, U.S.A.
It was reassuring to see other people seeing the same phenomenon, undergoing the same deep inquiry. My thoughts were echoed in other arenas. Now I neither endorse nor oppose Brian Mullin, a career engineer, raised by a career engineer father, but I use him to illustrate the kind of reexamination I was taking. Deep fundamental ideas. Anyhow, he found himself so disturbed by his inability to disprove flat earth theory that he started a channel on YouTube too. (Lengthy video at the end of this post)
Sometime a few months ago, I started getting unusual contacts, belligerent personalities commenting and emailing. Others of them were nice and then asking for personal information. So I looked some things up and found out quite a bit, and I published another video.
I did as I suggested, leaving a trail of false personal information here and there, recording the person to whom I had given that information. Lo and behold, soon after that, another person would intimate strikingly similar information in a “mirrored personality”. It happened more than once. It happened with nearly every bread crumb of false HUMINT I released. Someone was keeping a record, and that was… spooky. Two other confidential sources gave me more information, and when I realized they had no problem involving my family and friends… I pulled the plug.
I have a fighting spirit, tendency, but discretion counseled in favor of retiring the research activity and video production – negatively impacting the people under my care or protection is not something I could allow.
Thats about it. So, I guess you’re going to be seeing more activity on this blog soon.
