The drive into Quartzsite, Arizona was pleasant. The winter desert weather held the daytime highs in the 70s F (23 Celsius). The landscape went from the dry palm dotted look of Southern California to the cactus and tumbleweed look that characterizes much of the arid lands of Arizona.
The town hosts a two month long rock & gem show with RVs lined up in rows, earthen wares set out from adjoining tents. I managed to scope out some serious bargains. Continue reading Quartzsite Gem & Mineral Show – Feb 3, 2016
