The Whites-only dating site attempts to temper an otherwise blatantly racist premise by inviting non-white people to join (and become irrelevant site data) their community made by whites, of whites, for whites, and only whites.
It’s called, “Where white people meet” – and even the name of this site implies a few things which I’ve written up as a series of more truthful tag lines. They’re free, so the creators of the site can use them! No charge.
Where white people meet:
- – and avoid meeting any of those pesky non-white people!
- – and continue the tradition of the KKK & other whites-only groups!
- – to preserve a privileged social caste!
- – and avoid confronting their racial bias (how uncomfortable!)
From the ‘Where White People Meet’ blog:
People ask all the time “Why White People Meet”? I always say, why not? Just about every other race, religion and walk of life have dating websites so why not Where White People Meet? Our intentions in creating this dating website were never meant to be racist or biased in any way. In fact, my personal views are those of tolerance, love, acceptance and understanding. Anyone, 18 or older, may join and we encourage you to do so. [BAP: Just be sure you know your place as a non-white and realize that due to your race, you are inherently not date able and no one cares to meet you!]

…While those numbers aren’t exactly racist, when their data was crosschecked with the results from a Quick Discrimination Index (QDI), a survey that measures attitudes on race and diversity that participants also completed, they found those who scored high on the discrimination index also had high levels of racial preference.
Vocativ. Where White People Meet Is The Worst Dating Site, But Not Alone. Mainstream dating sites are rife with “racial preference” — and new research says it’s straight-up racism.
…the paper concluded, this “challenges the idea of racial attraction as solely a matter of personal preference.” In other words, swiping right on a white guy seems more innocuous than navigating over to Where White People Meet, but on a societal level, it just might be a smaller expression of everyday racism.
Subconscious Bias Is the Root of Most Racism
This site is a good example of the position that social scientists are increasingly supporting, that racist acts are not accurately assessed by examining the intentions and conscious beliefs of the actor, but rather the embedded thought systems of unconscious bias.
