I think my sensibilities are weakening. From the beginning days of the web – when it was still referred to in newsprint as “the World Wide Web (WWW),” I sought and was unfazed by Internet horrors and freak shows.
I was the kid who ignored his parents and looked at the roadkill anyway.
So yeah, I pretty much saw it all. I was a curious kid.
I’d seek out the most extreme randomness, like I was at a custom order visual terminal of a big Believe-It-or-Not Museum. I could see whatever… sure the content was more limited, but back then we roamed free. Parental controls on content or apps didn’t even exist.
What is in medical experiments…. Eeesh… okay, thanks.
Crime scenes? Holy ….. shit….

Okay… i just had that experience. I would watch in fascination… I am weird that way, I saw a picture of a motorcycle accident and then I watched 2 Girls / 1 Cup …then went looking for chocolate soft serve.
I stopped that macabre habit years ago, but last weekend I dipped a toe into some Tumblr kink blogs… what I think are the Apple Censored Tumblr blogs.
I guess the official Tumblr App for Apple forbids and filters certain word searches to be “family friendly”, but does not tell the user without kids. Some of us like the filth okay?
So I hop onto the web tumblr, and uncover the Apple veil blocking people from some gloriously raunchy Tumblrs. I said God Damn! I am not judging here. You should see for yourself … using a web based
