When S.T. and I dive with friends, we keep it basic, choosing low current easy entry/exit sites. There are several who keep up well, but the goal as a host is to be inclusive and make sure everybody has a good time. Of course A#1 is safety. We teach basic hand signals, dive protocol, breathing techniques to minimize shallow water blackout (SWB many times results in a free diver fatality). None of that today.
